How can I get money from old wine/beer/coke bottles?
I’m going on a trip that is a little pricey, so I need to collect money. Is there a place that I can bring old beer bottles and wine bottles to get recycled and make a little money off of it as well? Preferably something that is in Ottawa. Also, while I’m at it, are there any fun school fundraisers that could also help collect money? I appreciate any help.

You didn’t say how old these are, but if they’re not older than 2007, you can take pop, beer and wine bottles back to the beer store for beer cans and bottles, or to a return depot for a return on the deposit. Go to bagitback.ca for details. Beer stores usually have limits on how many you can return at once, return depots don’t.
THE TWELVE VALUE FACTORS
There are twelve important factors that determine the value of any antique bottle. Any one of these factors is frequently not sufficient in and of itself to make a bottle valuable. It is the combination of these factors that determine value.
* 1. supply and demand
* 2. age
* 3. rarity
* 4. condition
* 5. color
* 6. esthetic appeal
* 7. embossing and design
* 8. category
* 9. size
* 10. individuality
* 11. historic significance
* 12. locale
